The maintenance work of rotary reducer is mainly to check and replace lubricating oil. The dipstick is located on the rotary device behind the boom base. Remove and check the dipstick, keep the oil level between the dipstick top and the dipstick mark, refuel through the dipstick tube if necessary, and then insert the dipstick. First remove the view cover located under the rotary reducer, remove the drain tubing from the retainer on the upper frame, and turn the hose end towards the container. Use the extended universal joint with casing to loosen the drain valve in the hole, drain the oil into a suitable container, tighten the drain valve, and hang the drain tubing on the retainer. Make sure the hose end is facing up, remove the dipstick and fill the measured amount of oil through the dipstick tube, keeping the oil level between the dipstick tip and the dipstick mark.
