1. Allow the engine to run at low speed for 5 minutes before shutting down.
CAUTION: Do not turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position while the engine is running, as this will cause serious damage to the electrical system. Start the engine only from the cab. Do not start the engine by connecting the terminal blocks or the battery or short-circuiting the engine start terminals, as this will seriously damage the electrical system. Before starting the engine, move all hydraulic control levers to the "neutral" position and the hydraulic connection lever to the "locked" position.#drilling rig equipment#
2. When the drilling rig is not in use:
(1) Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position.
(2) Turn the battery power switch to the OFF position.
Warm Tip: When welding or cutting on a rotary drilling rig, please disconnect the battery power switch, which will disconnect the entire machine circuit to protect the electronic module and other electronic components.
