Our technicians spent two full weeks researching and compiling information on the current status of rotary drilling rigs in China. During this research, they discovered that recently, Chinese technicians have presented very detailed data on the domestic situation of rotary drilling rigs, market demand, and shortcomings, and have offered their own perspectives on the development of rotary drilling rigs in China. Below are my personal analysis:
Rotary drilling rigs are construction machinery suitable for hole-forming operations in building foundation engineering. They are mainly suitable for construction in soil layers such as sand, cohesive soil, and silty soil, and are widely used in various foundation constructions such as cast-in-place piles, continuous walls, and foundation reinforcement. Large rotary drilling rigs typically have a rated power of 125–450 kW, a power output torque of 120–400 kN·m, a maximum hole diameter of 1.5–4 m, and a maximum hole depth of 60–90 m, meeting the requirements of various large-scale foundation construction projects.#drilling mining machine#
The main and auxiliary winches are suitable for various on-site conditions. This type of drilling rig, when used with different drilling tools, is suitable for dry (short auger) or wet (rotary bucket) drilling operations in rock formations (core drill). It can also be equipped with long auger drills, diaphragm wall grab buckets, vibratory pile hammers, etc., achieving multiple functions. It is mainly used for foundation construction in municipal construction, highway bridges, industrial and civil buildings, diaphragm walls, water conservancy, and seepage prevention and slope protection. This type of drilling rig generally uses a hydraulic crawler-type telescopic chassis, a self-lifting and folding drill mast, telescopic drill rods, automatic verticality detection and adjustment, and digital hole depth display. The entire machine is generally operated using hydraulic pilot control and load sensing, featuring easy and comfortable operation. Pile foundations consist of two parts: a pile cap and a pile group. The pile cap is located on top of the piles, connecting the individual piles into a whole and evenly transferring the load of the superstructure to each pile, which then transfers it to the ground. Pile piles are classified into friction piles and end-bearing piles according to different force transmission methods. Manually excavated cast-in-place piles are also included. Single-tube and multi-tube high-pressure jet grouting piles, bored piles, rotary drilling piles, CFG piles, deep mixing piles, powder jet grouting piles, crushed stone piles, chemical grouting, pipe piles, precast concrete piles, static pressure piles and cast-in-place piles, and hammer-driven piles.
Based on my country's national conditions, we develop rotary drilling rigs of different grades, including large, medium, and small models, especially medium and small-sized ones. Due to intense domestic competition, minimizing costs can improve reliability.
However, why has the cost of rotary drilling rigs remained high in China? The reason lies in the continuous improvement of our production processes, quality, and workforce. Therefore, only by producing the best equipment can we better serve our customers.#drilling mining machine#
