What Is The Maintenance Cycle For Rotary Drilling Rigs?

Rotary drilling rigs have very strict maintenance requirements, so every operator dares not be negligent in maintenance work. However, many operators do not accurately grasp the maintenance time during construction, thus missing the maintenance period and causing various malfunctions in the machine. What is the maintenance cycle of a rotary drilling rig? Northern Foundation Rental, a rotary drilling rig manufacturer, will provide a detailed introduction.#concrete drill#

Maintenance Cycle

1. Maintenance every 100 hours

Normally, a rotary drilling rig needs maintenance every 100 hours, including: drill rods, drill rod connecting pins, cylinder head pins, checking the oil level in the slewing mechanism housing, etc.

2. Maintenance every 250 hours

Maintenance items that can be performed every 250 hours include: checking the oil level in the final drive housing (add gear oil), checking the fan belt tension, checking the air conditioning compressor belt tension, checking the battery electrolyte, changing the oil in the engine oil pan, and replacing the engine filter.#concrete drill#

3. Maintenance Items Every 500 Hours#concrete drill#

The maintenance items required at 500 hours include: replacing the fuel filter; inspecting and cleaning the rotary drilling rig's radiator fins; checking the grease level of the slewing pinion (adding grease); inspecting the oil cooler and condenser fins; replacing the hydraulic oil filter; changing the oil in the final drive housing (only performed initially at 500 hours, then every 1000 hours); cleaning the internal and external air filters of the rotary drilling rig's air conditioning system; and replacing the hydraulic oil vent filter.

4. Maintenance Items Every 1000 Hours

1000 hours is also a maintenance milestone for the rotary drilling rig. The checks and maintenance items that should be performed include: checking the oil level (return oil) in the shock absorber housing; changing the oil in the rotary drilling rig's slewing mechanism housing; inspecting all fasteners of the turbocharger; checking and replacing the generator belt tension; replacing the anti-corrosion filter; and changing the oil in the final drive housing, etc.

5. 2000-Hour Excavator Maintenance

Maintenance for rotary drilling rigs at 2000 hours includes: cleaning the hydraulic oil tank filter, checking the generator and starter motor, checking engine valve clearance, checking and cleaning the turbocharger, and checking the shock absorbers, etc.

6. Maintenance Required After 4000 Hours

Maintenance is required at each stage of the rotary drilling rig's lifespan. Every 4000 hours, an additional check of the water pump is needed; every 5000 hours, an additional hydraulic oil change is required.

Summary:

Regarding the maintenance schedule and replacement of wear parts for rotary drilling rigs, it is crucial not to compromise or delay. It is difficult to determine the degree of quality deterioration of these parts through simple inspections; therefore, regardless of their condition, they must be replaced regularly! The above information is provided by Northern Foundation Rental, a rotary drilling rig manufacturer, and we hope it is helpful.
