If the maintenance of the rotary drilling rig rope compactor is not timely and there is a lack of lubricating oil inside the rope compactor, it will cause the rope compactor to rotate flexibly, deform, and even damage or jam the internal bearings of the rope compactor, resulting in wear and tear of the steel wire rope. How to solve this problem encountered by rotary drilling rig?
1. On site inspection of the rotary drilling rig rope compactor showed no deformation, but the surface of the rope compactor was severely worn;
2. Upon disassembling the rope press, it was discovered that there was a lack of lubricating grease in the rope press;
3. Further disassembly of the rope compactor revealed that the internal bearings were damaged, causing the rope compactor to be unable to rotate;
4. Replace the internal bearings of the rotary drilling rig's rope press, reinstall the rope press, add lubricating grease, and troubleshoot.
